Where can I get the drivers for the BT851/BT850/BT860?

The BT851/BT850/BT860 uses the generic Bluetooth drivers of the host operating system.

Before connecting the dongle or module to the computer, it is important to check if there is a native Bluetooth adapter on the computer, as only one adapter can be enabled.

For Windows, check the Bluetooth Devices section of Device Manager to verify whether there is a native Bluetooth adapter. If there is, it will be necessary to disable the adapter prior to connecting the BT851 dongle, or BT850/BT860 module to the PC.

For Linux check with hciconfig to see if there is an existing Bluetooth adapter. If one already exists it will need to be disabled to allow the BT851/BT850/BT860 to properly attach. We also recommend verifying which Bluetooth kernel modules are loaded using the lsmod command and confirming that the btusb module is included in the kernel.
