Is there a Laird Connectivity Wifi module that supports 4ADDR mode and layer2 bridging?
Yes, Laird´s 60-radios support 4-addr mode and layer-2 bridging with Lairds specialized SUMMIT Wifi stack.
This functionality requires the use of software version 10.4.0.10 (Gihub) or newer and Lairds Summit Software stack for the 60-series modules: /wireless-modules/wifi-modules-bluetooth/summit-software-stack-60-series
This is supported on all 60-radios including SU60-SIPT, SU60-2230-C, SOM60 and SOM8M+.

How can I measure the power consumption on my SOM 8M Plus Development Kit?
There are two current sense resistors on the SOM 8M Plus DVK connected to a power monitoring IC to allow for measurements of current on the SOM 8M Plus power rail as well as on the external battery power rail.
For current consumption on the SOMs power rail issue:
cat /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio\:device0/in_current0_input
And for the external power rail issue:
cat /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio\:device0/in_current1_input

On Lairds SOM 8M Plus System on Module, how is the radio connected to the host processor?
The interface the 60-series radio on the SOM 8M Plus connects to the iMX8MP host processor is selectable in software to allow for choosing between lower power consumption and higher performance.
There are 5 options:
Description Radio Mode Parameter Value (set-radio-mode <radio_mode>
)
PCIe and UART(default pcie-uart
SDIO and UART sdio-uart
SDIO and UART (Stop upon shutdown) sdio-uart-stop
SDIO and UART (Suspend upon shutdown) sdio-uart-susp
SDIO and SDIO sdio-sdio
The command to set the interface option is:
set-radio-mode <radio_mode>

What is the MCS index for Wi-Fi?
MCS stands for Modulation Coding Scheme and is an industry metric index based on Wi-Fi connection parameters between a client and wireless access point. These parameters include modulation type, coding rate, spatial streams, channel width, and guard interval.
What is Laird Connectivity's product lifecycle EOL and PCN policy?
Laird Connectivity is committed to the long-term supply of all its standard embedded wireless modules and packaged products. Laird Connectivity’s products are specifically designed to meet the needs of the industrial and medical markets, which typically require 7 – 10 years product lifecycle.
