Where’s My Device? The Benefits of Centimeter-Scale Ranging and Location Accuracy via UWB and Bluetooth LE

Combining UWB and Bluetooth LE technology opens up unparalleled accuracy in device positioning and ranging -- as precise as within 10cm. In industrial and medical applications, that level of accuracy can be critical. Whether it's for robots performing automated tasks on the factory floor or location-based access control in the hospital, precise and low-latency location monitoring gives customers an unprecedented look at where their people and devices are located. And the real magic is not just in the functionality of UWB or of Bluetooth LE, but in combining them for even greater precision and use case flexibility.

In this webinar, together NXP and Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity) will look at the unique value created by combining UWB and Bluetooth LE in a single device, the applications where it can create meaningful value for industrial and medical customers, and why UWB's unique characteristics are a game changer for location and ranging applications.
