The Connectivity Products Business Unit (CPBU) of Laird Technologies® recently helped two customers achieve Cisco® Compatible Extensions (CCX) for new devices. Datalogic® earned CCX V4 certification for the SKORPIO X3 Rugged Mobile Computer and Intermec® earned CCX V4 certification for the CV61 Fixed Vehicle Mount Computer. For details, visit the Datalogic SKORPIO  X3 page in the Solutions Catalog on Cisco Developer’s Network Web site here, and the Intermec CV61 page here.

All of CPBU’s Summit Wi-Fi® solutions are certified for Version 4 of CCX, the highest level of Cisco compatibility for business-critical mobile devices. CCX V4 certification signifies not just interoperability with enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure products from Cisco but also support for Cisco Wi-Fi® innovations in areas such as security, mobility, quality of service, and network management.

CPBU customers get on the fast track to CCX certification. Because of the close partnership between Cisco and CPBU and due to CPBU’s proven expertise with CCX implementation, Summit-enabled devices can gain CCX certification with no additional testing.
