Steve Jobs and the MacBook Air

Led by Steven Paul Jobs, (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011), Apple popularized Wi-Fi by incorporating the then-new IEEE 802.11 standard into Apple desktops and later laptops and smartphones. His attention to detail and passion for design and usability helped hone what was then a niche industrial technology into a way to connect millions of people.
