CPBU Attends Connected World Conference

June 11-13, 2012 the CPBU, along with the Telematics and Antennas divisions of Laird Technologies® attended the 2012 Connected World Conference in St. Charles, Illinois. The industry event placed a spotlight on shifts in new wireless technology for today and the future. Some of the topics explored in the conference sessions included the wireless machine-to-machine market, connected devices in hospitals, and security and privacy issues with connected devices. The show also featured Connected Vehicles in both the exhibit hall and presentations, playing on the shows theme of "Driving Smarter Decisions for a Connected World".

The Laird Technologies booth showcased products from its Wireless Systems Division, led by the Smart Antenna Platform, and showcased the Summit Wi-Fi® Radio Modules product line.

“The show allowed us to present our LWS division as a complete wireless solutions provider. Having products and people from IAS, Telematics, and Connectivity allowed us to showcase our overall capabilities”, said Mike Renft, Laird Technologies Regional Sales Manager.
