Bridging BLE to LoRaWAN – Ezurio (formerly Laird Connectivity) at The Things Virtual Conference

It’s Easier Than Ever to Push Sensor Data to the Cloud

This year, the annual Things Conference was one of many public events to be canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but also like many such events, it was able to continue in online format. The Things Virtual Conference gave presenters and attendees a safe way to connect, meet, and share ideas. And Ezurio was proud to be able to join in the online experience.

Our FAE Mark Duncombe presented on the subject of bridging BLE to LoRaWAN with our Sentrius™ BT510 Sensor, RM186 development kit, and RG186 gateway. Utilizing this hardware, the BT510 gathers sensor data, which is transmits to the RM186 module on the development board. The module then relays that information to the gateway over LoRaWAN, and then the gateway relays that over the internet to The Things Network.

Our modules, packaged sensors, and gateways offer the simplest route to gathering IoT data and visualizing it in cloud platforms. With minimal configuration from our mobile applications and cross-platform configuration software, you can go from unboxing to gathering actionable sensor readings in just minutes. Watch Mark Duncome illustrate how in the video below.
